Brick Starter Pack configuration

Use /starterpack for normal pack changes. Select Save starter packs to apply edits and keep them after restarts.

Tab What you can change
Presentation Welcome text, pack labels, claim button, and success message.
NPC Location Place and rotate the representative in the world.
Male / Female Items and quantities, cash, bank money, and vehicle rewards for each pack.
Design Separate colors for the admin editor and both player menus.
Preview Review the player-facing packs before saving.

The item picker uses your installed inventory catalog. Search for an item and set a positive whole-number quantity. Set cash or bank to 0 to omit that money reward.

For vehicles, choose a model and an unrestricted public car garage from the pickers. Players collect the owned vehicles from those garages after claiming. Each pack must contain at least one reward.

In config.lua, assign player model names to the appropriate pack:

Config.PlayerPeds = {
Male = { 'mp_m_freemode_01' },
Female = { 'mp_f_freemode_01' },
}

Add valid GTA or streamed player model names to these lists. Keep at least one model in each list and list each model only once. Players with an unlisted model cannot claim a pack.

Config.Ped = {
Model = 's_m_m_highsec_01',
Scenario = 'WORLD_HUMAN_CLIPBOARD',
}

Choose a valid ped model. Set Scenario = false to leave the representative standing without an activity. Set its location through NPC Location in the editor.

Config.Interaction contains distances in game units:

  • Radius (default 1.25): size of the target interaction area.
  • Distance (default 2.0): how close players must be to interact.
  • ServerDistance (default 3.0): maximum allowed distance when claiming. Keep at least as large as Distance.

All three values must be positive.

Config.Admin = {
Command = 'starterpack',
Permission = 'admin',
}

Use a command name without /. Set Permission to the framework or ACE permission granted to your administrators through Brick Bridge.

Restart brick_starterpack after editing config.lua.

server_config.lua supplies the initial text, colors, and rewards when the resource first creates its settings. Both packs initially contain 2500 cash and 5000 bank money, with no items or vehicles. The NPC starts unplaced.

After the first successful start, make pack changes in the editor. Editing these initial defaults does not replace saved packs, text, colors, or NPC placement.

Config.Locale = 'en' selects a Lua locale in locales/ for prompts and notifications. These files remain editable. Customize the player menu’s welcome and success text in Presentation.

At the end of server_config.lua, Config.Webhook controls claim logging. Set Enabled = true, enter your Discord incoming-webhook URL in Url, and optionally change Name. Restart the resource after editing these settings.

Logs include player identifiers and reward delivery details. Keep the URL private and restrict access to the receiving channel. Set Enabled = false to disable logging.
